Worship is the premier activity of our church.
It is that which all other ministries revolve
around and from which all ministry is fueled.
It is here that all the saints gather to offer a
sacrifice of praise through song. It is here we
offer prayers of confession, thanks, praise, and
need. We gather to enhance unity and to hear
the Word read and Preached. Our passion is to
see God glorified above all else. We meet to
give glory to God and to encourage the hurting
and ready them for battle.
We recognize that worship is ultimate in that it
has existed as long as man, and it will never cease. In our worship we join with the saints of the past who are even now around the throne and with the saints of today all around the world. In order to accomplish this we sing songs from the entire era of church history and from all around the world. We read confessions and creeds of the past while also considering the world in which we now live. Our sermons emphasize the Glory of God and His Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit. Each sermon points directly to the cross and the inauguration of Christ’s kingdom. We invite you to worship with us.
“He who admits no fear of God is really a post-Christian man; for at the heart of Judaism and Christianity lies a holy dread.”
Russel Kirk
"Resolved, to live with all my might, while I do live."
Jonathan Edwards
"I read of the revivals of the past, great sweeping revivals where thousands of men were swept into the Kingdom of God.
I read about Charles G. Finney winning his thousands and his hundreds of thousands of souls to Christ. Then I picked up a book and read the messages of Charles G. Finney and the message of Jonathan Edwards on 'Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God,' and I said, 'No wonder men trembled; no wonder they fell in the altars and cried out in repentance and sobbed their way to the throne of grace!'
